About NEPHROMED

NephroMed began in 2017 with a simple belief: quality kidney and cancer care shouldn’t be out of reach for anyone. What started as a single dialysis centre has grown into three — in Mombasa, and Mpeketoni (Lamu County) — each one built on the same promise of compassionate, affordable, individualized care.

Over the years, we’ve cared for our patients through more than 45,000 dialysis sessions and 3,000 chemotherapy sessions — numbers that, to us, represent thousands of personal stories of resilience. Our clinical team includes experienced nephrologists, an oncology expert, nutritionists and psychotherapists, working together so every patient is supported medically and emotionally.

We are proud to be Social Health Authority (SHA) accredited and an NCI accredited primary cancer centre, and we’re empanelled with all major medical insurance providers — so quality care stays accessible, not just available.
